Vital Zigns, LLC (“Vital Zigns,” “us” or “we”) operates the VitalZigns.com website and the following mobile applications (games/apps) for the iOS and/or Android platform:

The purpose of these apps is to provide entertainment service (this “Service”) to you (the “User” or “Users”) of these products.
OUR COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED BY VITAL ZIGNS?
Information the User Volunteers. Vital Zigns never collects personal information from the User as a requirement to use our Services. We will never directly ask for or collect personal information of the user without consent. We do NOT collect any of the following information: name, personal address, phone number, exact geo location (by GPS coordinates or otherwise), financial payment information, email address, text messages or emails, call logs, contacts/address book, health and medical information, photos or videos, web browsing history, apps downloaded or used (other than our own), passwords or log-in information for any other service or website, personal characteristics, or unique device identifier (UDID).
Volunteered information may only be indirectly collected by us if the User initiates an email or text to the administrators of Vital Zigns Services. Information that is sent by the User via email may contain their email address; their first, middle, and/or last name; aliases; and/or any other information that is normally initiated and included in the Userâ€™s email signature line (e.g., personal or work phone number, business name and location, etc.).
Information Collected by Third-Party Services. Some of our apps use third-party social services to enhance the enjoyment of the apps. These third-party service providers include: Game Center (Apple), Google Play Game Services (Android), and Twitter. If these voluntary services are initiated by the User, personal information may be requested by these providers to activate them. Vital Zigns does NOT collect log-in or password information that is submitted to the third-party services in this manner.
Information Collected From the User’s Mobile Device. When using our apps we may collect information about the User’s device type, IP address, operating system, general geographic location (i.e., City, State, Country) of the internet service provider (ISP), the identity of the ISP, and screen actions while the User is engaging in the app for the sole purpose of creating aggregate statistics to improve the function of our app.

MORE ABOUT IP ADDRESSES
An “IP address” is a unique number that is automatically assigned to the User’s computer or mobile device when the User connects to the Internet. It is used to identify the User’s computer or mobile device’s “location” in cyberspace, so that the information the User requests can be delivered to the User. If the User uses a dialup connection or a connection that assigns dynamic IP addresses, the User’s computer or mobile device will be assigned a new IP address each time the User connects to the Internet. If, however, the User’s computer or mobile device is permanently connected to the Internet using a static IP address, the IP address assigned to the User’s computer mobile device will generally be the same each time the User uses his/her computer or mobile device.
IP addresses do not include the User’s name, email address or other information that identifies the User personally, but in some cases, they can be used to identify the User. For example, we may provide the User’s IP address to our third-party service providers (Google Analytics & Game Analytics) who can use it to identify the User’s state and zip code. This gives us valuable demographic information about the individuals who use the Service. The third-party service provider is bound by contract to use the IP addresses we provide only for this purpose. In addition, if, for example, we suspect fraud or a threat to the security of the Service, we may share our server logs – which contain IP addresses – with the appropriate investigative authorities, who could use that information to trace and identify individuals.
HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH OUR APPS?
Generally, Vital Zigns uses aggregate information collected from our apps to analyze how different global demographics (i.e., location [city, state, country], device type, and app version) interact with our apps. We do not collect involuntary personal information as a requirement to use our Services. We may use the aggregate information we collect through the Service:
to better understand the needs and interests of the general user;
to improve the content, functionality and usability of the Service;
for any other purpose identified in an applicable privacy notice; and
for any other purpose identified in a click-through agreement or other agreement between Vital Zigns and the User.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS FROM VITAL ZIGNS
We will never ask for or require that a User provide an email address to use our Services. If a User initiates an email to an administrator of our Services, we may use the User’s email address and first name to communicate directly to them regarding specific issues or comments they may have.
ADVERTISING SERVICES DISPLAYED FROM MOBILE APPS
Some of our apps utilize in-app advertising in which the User has the opportunity to click on or dismiss. These third-party service providers include: Chartboost. If these services are initiated by the User, personal information may be requested by these providers to purchase and activate them. VITAL ZIGNS DOES NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OTHERS
Vital Zigns does not share, sell or disclose personal information collected through the Services to third-parties, with the exception of sharing aggregate data with Google Analytics & Game Analytics, as indicated above.

Information that is collected via voluntary email is stored in its original form (email file) for a reasonable amount of time on our server until it can be reviewed and replied to (as applicable). We typically delete all non-critical email from our server every 3 to 4 months. We will retain and use the User’s information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
What steps does Vital Zigns take to safeguard personal information?
We maintain reasonable administrative, physical and technological measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the User’s personal information that has been sent by the user. Unfortunately, no website, server or database is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. For this reason, the User should use care and discretion when they send an email and never post information that can be used for identity theft purposes, such as social security numbers, bank account numbers, or credit card numbers.
Protecting children under the age of thirteen
Users of our Services may include friends and family of all ages. Special care must be taken to protect children under the age of 13. For this reason, Vital Zigns collects no personal information from our Users other than emails initiated by the User. Vital Zigns will NEVER ask for, collect, or share personal information provided through general correspondence initiated by the User.
