Game Design Documents are an important part of the game development process. A lot of people don’t know how to write one, how to organize it, or where to even begin.

Here’s a template (Microsoft Word) for you to easily create and organize a GDD for your next project. It includes organized areas for you to write the game overview, storyline, gameplay mechanics, aesthetics, schedules, and more.
